About · Virtual kitchen & interior design
Design begins with how people live.
KP Kitchen Design is a virtual architectural interior design studio specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, residential interiors, and outdoor living spaces. Serving clients throughout the United States and internationally, we bring a personalized approach to every project.
We believe exceptional design begins with understanding the people who inhabit a space their lifestyles, preferences, and the details that make a home distinctly their own.
Our story
American expertise.
International perspective.
Founded by Melissa Pinson, KP Kitchen Design brings together American design experience and an international perspective shaped by Milan. Following her work in residential and commercial design in the San Francisco Bay Area, Melissa pursued a master's education in Furniture Design at Politecnico di Milano, deepening her understanding of Italian craftsmanship, materials, and furniture construction.
Today, KP Kitchen Design provides architectural interior design services to homeowners, builders, architects, and showrooms worldwide, with every project personally overseen by Melissa and guided by a commitment to craftsmanship and detail.

What guides the work
Proportion
We resolve every room from its proportions first. When the bones are right, everything placed in it looks effortless.
Materiality
Honest stone, wood and metal, chosen to age beautifully. We specify materials we know firsthand, from makers we trust.
Craftsmanship
Luxury lives in the detail. Every drawing we deliver is precise enough to build from.
